What we do
Dr. Import imports Indonesian Kopi Luwak and distributes it in Switzerland, to private customers and establishments alike. We are not a general online shop: we work on one product, in small quantities, with partners we know.
There is a reason for that focus. The Kopi Luwak market is saturated with doubtful products precisely because proper control takes time and knowledge. We would rather do one thing seriously than ten things approximately.
Three principles
Say what we know, and what we don't
We document the origin of every lot. When information is missing, we say so rather than filling the gap with commercial vocabulary.
Refuse rather than top up
An announced stock-out is better than a lot substituted in silence. It is sometimes commercially uncomfortable, and it is the only tenable position.
Support the purchase
A coffee at this price deserves brewing guidance, an origin sheet and someone you can reach. That is not an added service, it is the product.
